Beautiful Trees of Sicily

After San Martino Day we resumed work on our school garden and orchard. Here are some photos of our trees.

San Martino Day

BISCUITS and 'MUFFOLETE'
November 11 is the feast of San Martino, the day that traditionally ends the agricultural year. The Slow Food Italy has chosen this date to do the "Day of School Gardens”.
At our school we have created an event with songs. The parents have brought traditional foods: “ Biscuits and Muffolette San Martino”. The tables were laden with fruit in season.
The Director of Education and the City Councillor for Culture came to our school.
