San Martino Day

BISCUITS and 'MUFFOLETE'
November 11 is the feast of San Martino, the day that traditionally ends the agricultural year. The Slow Food Italy has chosen this date to do the "Day of School Gardens”.
At our school we have created an event with songs. The parents have brought traditional foods: “ Biscuits and Muffolette San Martino”. The tables were laden with fruit in season.
The Director of Education and the City Councillor for Culture came to our school.

Time to Judge!

During the first week in June it will be time to judge the best school garden. We need photos of your chosen garden with a written description. I will add a voting system and children and parents can vote for the winning garden. You CAN'T vote for your own garden.
Poland I realise you are having problems with flooding. Hopefully you can post some photos before the rain came down!!!

P6.6 Thailand - growing trees to work against climate change

After a few days of preparation, P6/6 gathered the spades and shovels and went for an adventure trip. We planted one hundrend trees around the temple area for shading. We had a fantastic day and were very proud of our contribution to climate change. We hope to have more opportunities to do more memorable activities.
