POLAND - TREES

These trees grow in Poland. We have written their names in POLISH and in ENGLISH. Do you know these trees? The ones that we have in our school garden are marked with the red spot.
Look! These oak trees in our school garden that you can see in the photo below were planted here 40 years ago!

Pacciamatura - Sicily

In the photo the pupils are putting the straw on the ground near the young plants. This operation is called "pacciamatura". It serves to protect theyoung plants from the cold and it can avoid the growth of the weed.

From Poland

The weather today was a little bit better, we hope that the sun will soon melt the snow in our garden and we will be able to plant our daffodils next week. On the horizon you can see frosty peaks of Beskidy Mountains in the rays of sun. This is a view from one of our classrooms.

Some of our designs

This is a part of our garden that is behind the school building. We took a photo of it, we used Photo Shop to change it into PNG. This way we could create our designs in Tux Paint.

Students would like to add some colour to our school garden. These are only some of our  designs. We will publish more of them soon.

Poland

First snow has fallen. What a surprise - we were just about to plant our daffodil bulbs into the ground. Look at our garden! We have to wait till it gets warmer again :)

P6B Take a Walk on the Wild Side!

Greetings from Poland

Dear Friends, here we are in our school garden. In next posts we would like to show you what trees and plants grow in our garden. We like spending our breaks in the garden. We will try to create some designs and plant some flowers soon.
