Miss Cotter & P4 tackle the garden

We plan to plant bulbs and plants just like the daisies we planted in May


We chose where we would like P4 to have their garden

We had to do a lot of digging, the ground was very hard and there were a lot of stones

Planning

P1 x 2 raised beds infant playground
P4 front of the school in front of the music room
P5 sensory garden on the left approach to the field , Holly Trees already planted.
P6 behind the wooden fence in the upper playground. Developed using tyres and top soil.
P7 outside the fire door at the rear of the school - feature plants already planted.

Measuring Robbie

Primary 7 planted the rowan tree in May and are now going to measure its progress. They have produced a graph in the classroom to record its growth.

Back to School

Mid Calder Primary are now back at school and the pupils are beginning to plan their various gardens. Hopefully, we will have some photos soon.
